Tower ID, yet again

hey guys, Google Maps

im almost positive this is a FAA RCAG Group, but i cannot find a registration for it.

ASR Registration 1044307

This is the closest registered tower, but its about 1.5-2 Km away.

a friend of mine who is trying to ID the group sent me this from the nearby Harps Rd Church.

well since the ASR Search specifies Km as its defining distance, i used it. Yes,im well aware this is Georgia.


Thanks, i figured it was a RCAG just by its design, i have yet to see any other system use that specific design.

FYI your link is not the same tower.

i pulled that same tower, its on a completely different road. the RCAG itself is off Antioch Road. the ASR Reg i pulled ( the same one you linked me to shows Hilo Road ) and i know which tower that is and its a Cell Tower.

Im curious why there is no ASR entry for this RCAG? is the FAA Exempt from having ASR Reg data for their systems?

The parking lot here, is the one the photo was shot from, see the street name on the right?

I used to live in this area for about 4 years. just a few streets down from Hilo is Windsor Dr. i lived there from age 17 till 23.

unless im mistaken and the ASR is saying its on Hilo but is just geographically in the wrong spot.

i know for a fact, the tower on Hilo Rd was built in mid 2000's, i was living there when they built it.

so, the 1976 submission may be the right one.
