Tower in Hickory Plains (Lonoke CO)

I was driving from DesArc to Cabot today, and when I came up to Hickory Plains on highway 38, off about a mile to the north, there was a huge 200-300' tower with dual strobes. Anyone know who that tower belongs to, and what its used for? Seems kind of out of place out in the middle of nowhere like that.

The tower you described appears to be a lot taller than you guessed. Here are the specificatons from AntennaSearch.com...

Owner company: American Family Association
Height of structure: 689.0 feet above ground elevation
Structure address: 1/4 mile North of the intersection of Hwy 13 & 38, Hickory Plains, AR

Further investigation shows this to be the transmission tower of radio station KBDO (91.7 MHz FM, 56,000 Watts) broadcasting a religious radio format. Licensed to Des Arc, AR, the station serves the greater Little Rock area.
