Putting back up the Scantenna for the 4th or 5th time after repairing wind damage. Took some pics with the cell phone.

You need to take care of the rust on the antenna mount. Not only is it damaging the mount, under the right conditions, it can cause intermod problems.

You should also secure your coax down to keep it from moving in the wind and wearing through the outer jacket that will let moisture in.

The coax is secured in the lower left corner of the picture. Hasn't been a problem for 15 years being secured at that point. Yah the coax is getting old. The rusty mount is pretty heavy material, don;t think it will suffer much damage. The u bolts are only cad plated and will soon rust also. Do you think if I paint the area it keep the intermod problems away? Getting late in the year to apply paint but there may be a couple of good days yet.

Awesome! how tall is the tower?

The tower is about 56 feet tall. The scantenna and discone are around the 45 foot level. The base of the tri-band vertical is near 63 feet. There are 2 800 mhz yagis and a 413 mhz yagi that don't really show in the picture due to there orientation from the camera and antennas. Some wire hf antennas show.

The tv tower in the background( 3rd picture) is on a 40 ft tower. The antron 99 (last picture) is on a 32 ft tower with about 10 ft of mast before the antron.

Like your location. Towers are great.

Really good looking tower setup you have there sir. Makes me envious and want to trade locations with you!:)
The rust that jim202 post about can over time become a problem. If you’re not experiencing any problems now, you could wait till spring/summer to take care of it. Just painting won’t do though. What happens is you loose your ‘ground’ continuity and that causes problems sometimes. Best bet is to wire brush, sand it down and use a good paint.
But above all, enjoy your set up and pull in those weak stations.
