I know this has been discussed in the past, but I haven't had much luck getting the exact info I need.
I am currently in the process of re-evaluating the frequency configuration of a multisite CON+ network. Some of the frequencies have been rearranged and channel numbers changed. Once I have determined the correct configuration of a site, I am not sure how to render that data for the database.
My problem is that DSDPlus lists "channel" numbers one way and scanners use a different system. DSD+ lists LSN (Logical Slot Number), while Uniden Sentinel requires LCN (Logical Channel Number), which is different.
Here is an example:
From DSD+
1 454.04375
2 454.04375
3 454.36875
4 454.36875
5 454.49375
6 454.49375
LCNs for Sentinel or RRDB
1 454.04375
2 or 3? 454.36875
3 or 5? 454.48375
Here is a more complicated example:
From DSD+
1 454.16875
2 454.16875
5 454.41875
6 454.41875
15 454.65625
16 454.65625
For Sentinel or RRDB
1 454.16875
2 or 5? 454.41875
3 or 15? 454.65625
Clarification of correct way to list these will be greatly appreciated.
