Trenton - a new system?????

Anyone hear about Trenton planning on a new 500 MHz system? There was a message on one message site a few weeks ago about this possibility? Any news?

Hi Rickey,

I've heard nothing, and I have gotten enough information over the years from those familiar with the system that I would have expected to hear some major news like this if it was in the works.

I wonder if someone is confusing Mercer County's new system as being in Trenton's future. With just seven repeaters, I don't think the county system could take all Trenton's traffic in addition to their own.

You are probably correct about the confusion with Mercer county. Well, I was hoping they'd get rid of that VSELP system.
