Any suggestions on what to scan? Is Norman pretty active?

With OU police and Norman PD, Fire, EMS and other city services it stays fairly busy.

I was just there not too long ago and I listened to the state 800 all the way down tracking OHP and then all the users on the state 800 in the actual metro. Oklahoma County SO is still conventional and makes for good scanning. EMSA is still on 463.175 Norman, Edmond are good trunking sites as well. If I went down today I would focus on the state system as well as all the other trunked stuff. What part are you going too?

yeah their 800 M/A talkgroup is 10-8, and there's some encypted channels that might be them.

Well I did hear a OK County SO unit on AM1 here a while back calling into dispatch. I would assume that he had a radio in his car since there did not seem to be any squelch tail or anything like that.
Someone on here a while back mentioned that there was some 800 stuff put into some of the cars/vans for prisoner transports.
