I am trying to sort this out, and maybe someone can clarify.

I wanted to listen to 6A, but heard nothing on their database talk group (2381). I opened up the bank and found them on TG 2401, which is listed as 6D.

I am thinking now that 6A, 6B and 6D all use 2401.

6C might be on their listed TG-2389 and I have also heard a 10 Mary 4 on this TG.

Anyone have there hands around all the troop 6 talk groups?

6A/6B/6D are all dispatched by the same dispatcher, so they are patched 24/7,

10M Units are the Motorcycle Operations Troop and they travel around to all the metro troops, so one day you might hear them on 6C, the next on 1C

I have the same problem tracking down what Troop I want to listen to. Troop, if it's not too much trouble, can you put together a list of the common patches that are used in the metro area? Thanks!

The other way you can see the common patches real time is to log any of the metro area control channels using pro96com.

Remember there are a lot more CSP TG's than dispatchers sitting in Lakewood so the patching of less busy TG's is common especially overnight and such.

During the Day and evening here's the usual breakdown

1A/3B
6A/6B/6D
3A/3C
1C
1D/6C
/////// After 2230 Varies but 1A is normally patched with 1C and the rest are a crap shoot based off off how many people are working

Great thank you! So, for example, you can find 3B on 1A's TG, and 6B/6D on 6A's TG? Thanks again Troop

I would recommend keeping the 6A, 6B and 6D groups in the scanlist at any given time for keeping tabs on the 6A area.

For those of us "North of the Insanity that is" any combination of 1A, 1C, 1D, 3B, 3C and 6C have been used at any given time for my listening for 3A.
