Hello all, I have been having trouble with my Uniden SDS-100 scanner recently. I listened to it almost daily for the last four months (primarily to listen to TACN) and would hear radio traffic as one would expect. However, I recently moved (less than ten minutes away from my old house) and now hear nothing. I have tried listening at all times of day (I, of course, understand there will be periods of silence while listening to a scanner), I have checked my settings to ensure that I have all of my frequencies entered correctly and that I have not accidentally altered any settings, I have looked around the area I now live in to ensure there were no cell towers, commercial radio towers, or any other possible source of interference, I am working to ensure none of my electronics are interfering (none appear to be so far), and I am at a loss for what to do next. I can hear analog signals just fine, but TACN remains silent (even where I used to hear frequent traffic from THP, local emergency services, and etc). Can anyone offer any insight into what could be causing this and what I could do to try and rectify it? Thank you for any help. 73.

Sounds like you are no longer picking up the control channel off of a tower.

Where are you located now and what tower is your scanner programmed for?

Thanks so much for the advice, I found the solution last night. I had my frequencies formatted incorrectly, apparently. It's possible that when I went to check the frequencies in sentinel I may have mistakenly selected the wrong file and reverted them to one of the versions I had saved before I finished my codeplug. I am now happily listening to my SDS100 once again haha
