Well, it works on an APX8000XE, which is interesting.
It doesn't matter if the site is transmitting a bandplan on a Motorola radio as you manually enter in the bandplan.

The only devices affected are the ones where you can't enter a bandplan like your Unication or the ones where you can't properly enter the bandplan like Uniden scanners.

As pointed out (i had forgot LOL). The Moto radios have the band plan programmed in to the system information trunking configuration > trunking system > Astro25 channel ID

LMRN worked great on my G5 when it first rolled out, and I would listen to the boring MTO broadcasts regularly off the Mississauga site. Now it no longer works.

Probably because the site you're listening to doesn't broadcast a bandplan. They had the same problem in Orange County, Florida with their G5's and Unication. Unication's stance was that all sites should broadcast a bandplan and the system was broken.

However, according to Page 68 of this document https://www.repeater-builder.com/tech-info/pdfs/p25-training-guide.pdf, the site is probably operating in Implicit Mode and the radio relies on it's own internal programming to determine what frequency to tune to.

You'll have to see if any sites in your area transmit a bandplan and program your Unication to only use that site.

Thanks Mike. Members on here confirmed that the site that I am trying to listen to is, in fact, transmitting a band plan. The only thing that I can think of is that’s it’s actually not. There is otherwise no reason as to why it would just stop working.
