Crap does Uniden do that too. :evil: That drove me crazy with the Pro-96. Someone found a trick with the 96 to wire the ground of the antenna and the headphone jack together to get full audio. Anything like that for the 396??

Not that I am aware of; my solution was an amplified speaker.

From the BCD396 manual:

WARNING!
Never connect any part of the headphone jack to
the antenna jack or connect the radio to an
installation where the antenna and audio
connection are grounded. This might damage the
scanner.

Yeah I thought I read that some where before, but thanks for the reminder..... I was hoping there was some other way around it that somebody might know of.
