Background:
I listen to the Washington County, Clackamas County, Newberg (WCCCA) radio system in the Portland Oregon Metro Area. This system has 8 sites covering 3 counties. I spend quite a bit of time traveling through these counties on a daily basis Monday-Friday for my job.
Question:
Should I create separate scan sets with the site information for the county I am traveling through, or should I leave it the way I have it set up with all the sites active for convenience? I have noticed that at times the radio stops scanning and the LED will light up but I won't hear any of the transmission as it may not be getting all the packets that are being transmitted.
