Hi from New Zealand, Hopefully there are other kiwis on this forum that may be of some help, Ive been into scanning for a few years now, from listening to the emergency services to decoding selcal and pager messages.
Since early 2011 our police changed over to encrypted digital which was not amusing. now the other two emergency services are going to do the same, but without encryption (hopefully), and they are apparently using the trunking systemon the 400Mhz and 800Mhz.
I cannot find anybody here that can tell me more about the trunking system, what type it is (Motorola etc), I am using a temporary program called Proscan to tune my BC785D, but I want to go further with the IDs etc, but I must need the type of system we use...is there anybody here than can help
