Trunker & BC780

We have taped the 780 correctly. We have 2 slicers that are working correctly. However, we cannot get trunker to work. All three of my computers us XP. I have read the documentation and I am reading it again to make sure that I did not miss anything. Can anyone maybe help me out so I can get this program up and running?? Someone that has set this up using XP??

Eric, which trunker are you trying to run? Trunker 3.8.3 or the one ported to Windows Mtrunk32.
Go to control panel, system, advanced, environment variables. Add in the top box the following.
TRACKENV C:\TRACKENV.TXT
This will set the environment variable for trunker.
Put the trackenv.txt file in the C:\ root directory.

Here is a copy of my Trackenv.txt file:

TRACKSLICERPORT=COM1
TRACKSLICERMODE=INVERT
TRACKSLICERPIN=CTS
TRACKSCANPORT=COM3
TRACKSCANBAUD=19200
TRACKSCAN=BC895
TRACKSCANPARK=850.0000
TRACKDIGITAL=1
TRACKCOLORS=1,11,14,15,13,12

You may have to change the invert option depending on your tap and slicer.

I have no problems running Trunker 3.8.3 using this setup on an Athlon XP2100 with WinXP Pro.

That worked!! I would have never guessed to put that txt file there in the enviroments.....thank you very much for helping!! It is so mind boggling when something does not work, but now it does and it is awesome
