Trunking my PRO-164

I have a list of several frequencies from radio reference for the Trunking frequencies for the city nearest me (Smyrna, TN). I have used scanners for years but never, until now, have I had one with Trucking capabilities. The directions for setting up Trunking bands in the PRO-164 manual read at though you are already know what you are doing. Am I making this harder than it is and what information do I really need about the system (Motorola Type II) do I need when I don't know what anything means?

No. I figured it out. I was trying to put in too much information. Thank You. I do need help with a lack of reception. I posted a thread called "Smyrna Trunking down?" in the Tennessee forums. If you read that thread and give any assistance, that would be appreciated.
