TRX-1 File for Salt Lake County

I haven't used my Whistler TRX-1 in a while. Certainly not since the P25 was introduced. Been using my SDS100 for that.

Anyways, I was curious if anyone would be willing to share their TRX-1 File for SLC County. Police / Fire / EMS would be ideal. Interested on how they look with the new P25 system.

Guess I will break out my TRX-1 and the good ol Whistler EZ-Scan and see what I can put together.

I don't think there are a lot of TRX-1 users in the area since they are not great at handling simulcast sites. If you are in Murray, your TRX might work for you since you are south of the southern-most NSL simo tower and north of the norther-most SL County simo tower. You may as well just start programming the stuff close to you and expand out later.

Before we switched over to P-25 earlier this year, my TRX-1 handled everything just as well as my SDS100.

I've now added some PD/Fire on my TRX-1. With the current P-25, it is definatley not working as well. I want to play with some settings to see if I can get it working any better.

Hey, thanks for coming back with a file. I had managed to get most of the SLC Valley PD loaded. But like I mentioned earlier, with the new P25 system... my TRX-1 isnt keeping up like my SDS100. I havent had time to fidgit with settings yet, but I am not expecting much.

I just started re-programming my TRX's yesterday. I'm still working on them for Davis Co area.

I have my trx 1 and trx 2 but not separated into counties that I can share just sl county, I do have an outdated utah County file. if I sent what I had u would get the whole state.. I'm not sure how to seperate it with the file system it has..
