TRX-1 Software

I am using Windows 8.1 and have loaded the TRX-1 Whistler Programing software but my computer will not connect to the scanner. It shows up as my drive J and I can look at the SD Card but it will not write updates or anything to the SD Card. In the device manager there is a Yellow triangle next to the TRX = USB port.

What am I doing wrong??

This appears to be a issue with the installation process with Windows. With the scanner not plugged into computer, see if there are any updates to EZScan with Check For PC Application Update.

I suggest uninstalling EZScan entirely if there are no updates. Then reinstall EZScan with scanner not plugged in and try the PC Application update again. I am not sure if this will work as once the scanner is plugged in before EZScan is installed this issue might appear.

Also to see the Scanner as TRX-1 you have to power the scanner off. Plug up the USB cable you will hear one driver load then 10 to 30 seconds later you will hear the second driver sound after that you should see the scanner.
