TRX-1: TRX-1 What to do first & how to program

Is there a sticky for first time users? since there has been many updates & I see alot of downloads on the support page Im wondering what is the first thing to do ? make a copy of the sd card ? what is the dsp update & do i need to do it ? do i download the firmware installer or will ez scan do that ? and is there a step by step programming guide somewhere for old slow people like me ? I just dont want to mess something up & brick the thing

A search of the Whistler Forum will show you multiple threads discussing each of the questions you asked.

Search box in upper right corner you can type TRX-1 programming or upgrade or firmware or DSP and you see multiple entries, including programming guides with pictures.
