when using the service search on the TRX1, can you search for talkgroup frequencies. Thanks.

Talkgroups are not frequencies.

To search for a talkgroup you must add a trunked system and its frequencies then select Wildcard for the talkgroup.

You can set the scanner to Record these then go back thru your recordings later to see if any of the found talkgroups are interesting.

Talkgroups that are of interest can then be added to your scan configuration.

If you use Service Search and choose Public Safety band it will stop on digital data channels and automatically decode all digital formats and show any active TG and you can listen to the conversation. You can push the Menu button and save the current channel but I do not know if that also will include the TG.

For Limit Search it will give the choice to select only certain types of digital transmissions.

Spectrum Sweeper works in the same way as Public Safety search.
