I haven't used my scanner for a few years. I started it and it seems that NDXN is not working. Can someone
explain to me how to verify that my scanner has the NDXN modification it it. I installed it back then and have
lost all information about the scanner and what I bought. My next step is to connect it to my computer and see
what ezscan can tell me. I'll all so look at their web site to see if instructions are there. P25 works, can't remember
if that was a mod or not. Any info appreciated;

It was part of a firmware update several years ago, I would think if you have the firmware updated, and have heard NXDN in the past, it is either your location or your programming that is the issue.

You can do Fn+0 to go to Search menu and then the Menu button. Go down the menu and you'll see P25 X2 DMR NXDN. If you enter your frequency it will be decoded and if it is encrypted it will do what you have selected to do with encryption, mute or listen to the datasignalling or play a tone. If it is a simulcast system it will probably have major issues to decode the signal.

Kinda found my problem, moved my scanner so I could connect an outside antenna. Now I
can hear a NXDN96 network but a NXDN48 is still quiet, gotta figure that out. Thanks for your
posts. /Ubbe I'll do some searching and see in I can figure it out.

Had to re-learn scanlist enabling.
