TRX1 SCANLISTS

HOW DO I KEEP THE TRX1 FROM SCANNING ALL THE SCANLISTS EVEN THOUGH THERE IS NO DATA IN THE SCANLISTS. i HAVE 4 SCANLIST THAT I AM USING.

Thanks for your comments. My TRX1 does not have a volume knob ..It does have a squelch knob. What do I do now?

Just press the number of the scanlist you want to turn off, then ".." Or you can toggle multiple lists at one time; press a number then "." then another number, etc., then ".." when done. For example, I have my town's analog fire dispatch in 3, digital in 33; when I want to switch back & forth I just press "3.33.." Hope that helps!

Before you load the scanlist from the computer, under Advanced Features, there is a list to enable or disable each group.

Before you load the scanlist from the computer, under Advanced Features, there is a list to enable or disable each group.

Go to the General Settings tab. You will see each scan list has a box for Enabled. Click on Disable All Scanlists. Then, click on the Enable box for each of the 4 scan lists you want to scan. Send the file to the scanner. Any scanlist can be turned on and off using the scanner keypad. That just determines which scanlists will be enabled when you send the file to the scanner.

I have disabled all scanlists and then checked the four I wanted. How do you send the file to the scanner. I am using the Whistler trx1 software.

Under "Scanner/SD Card" select "Copy Config to Scanner".
