TULLAHOMA PD & FD

A friend has told me that Tullahoma PD & FD are in the process of switching over to the TACN network, as Coffee Co. did earlier.
Does anyone know what site(s) they will be using and what the talk group numbers will be?

Yes Tullahoma is...though it will be a while that the sites are not even up and running. They are keeping their Mototrbo system in the vehicles for back up

My friend said he had already seen a few police vehicles with the new antennas for the TACN system and that is why he asked. Do you know what sites they will be using and what the talk group numbers will be?

I don't think they are using DMR.

I live in Tullahoma, the PD is still using 460.450, and the FD is still using 460.575 in analog mode. Not aware of any DMR frequencies. I havenot heard the Tullahoma public works on frequency 453.875 in a long time, they might have gone to another system.

Thanks! That’s what was confusing me as someone above was talking about mototrbo which is digital as far as I know

they have mototrbo capable radios. Before they decided to go to tacn they were going to build out a DMR system

I have submitted changes is the TACN System to add the new TGIDs for Tullahoma PD and FD, though not switched over from analog yet they are being rebroadcasted at the moment to TACN

I’m not hearing them on Hoovers Gap but I guess it depends if there’s any test radios registered at this time of night

Can you advise if the Tullahoma PD/FD Cars have switched over to the TACN or not?
