Tulsa TRS reception in Sapulpa

Has anyone else noticed reception of the Tulsa site really sucks in Sapulpa? I wonder why?

yes, only my maxtracs work there, any scanner i try is scratchy in some spots and dead in others, starts clearing up about 2 miles south of town west.

I have been saying for years that they need their own tower in town! I guess they don't want to come up with the bucks to build one and the Bristow site doesn't help either. Ohh well as long as the radios work for the acutal user who cares about us scanner users.

That's just it, the radios are marginal at best from what I have heard. That is why they have there own 800 freq to use when needed.

I brought my UBC-3300 with me to the Creek Co jail the other day, but can't get a signal inside. it comes in fine(a little scratchy) on an /\/\ XTS5000, though.
