Forgot ta bring my Pro-97 to work yesterday....Anyone hear anything on the 2 high-speed F-15's moving East to West over the Northampton Mass area yesterday? (Tuesday)

I know with the recent base closures, they are supposed to be moving some of the F-15's out of Cape Cod to Barnes in Westfield but I didnt think it would be this soon...

F15 Western MA

WWLP TV 22, confirmed that this was a Homeland Security exercise that involved 2 F15's from Otis ANGB that intercepted and forced down a USCG Aircraft (probably a HU25A) to land at Westover JARB MA (KCEF).

My monitoring notes show that it was SLAM 31 (2 F15's) that flew the intercept & I monitored activity on 307.9, 379.1, 325.8, 348.75. What caught my attention was that SLAM instructed Boston ARTCC not to simucast the transmission on VHF. The word "strangle" continued to be used as they closed in on the aircraft. The SLAM's RTB'd to Otis ANGB after traing. Time 0932 to approx 0951 hrs local.
