I think I see a pattern. All the Dallas Dist. DMR repeaters might have TG 10 on slot 1 and individual TGs on slot 2.

I'm hearing traffic on 151.025 (100.0 PL) here in McKinney. I've been monitoring 155.355, the McKinney frequency on the WQRY531 license mentioned upthread. As I've been keeping an eye on it the last few weeks I've only seen DMR data, no voice. DCC 1.

I guess I thought TxDOT had a few groups on the Megahertz Technology system. I also have seen a document listing TxDOT as a "partner" on Fort Worth RRS. I see no groups listed on either system on RR, though.

BTW, TxWARN, site 1-96 (Austin/Cedar Dark) carries TxDOT traffic including some encrypted traffic. The site itself is located at a TxDOT facility.

151.3925 Color 1 Slot 1&2 is the Dallas County primary frequency for salt/sand trucks. I live in the area of PGBT and US 75, and have heard this frequency very active for all highways in Dallas County, and bordering northern counties such as Collin as well. Also used has been 156.135 PL 100.0 simplex, as well as 151.025 PL 100.0 simplex. 155.355 is supposed to be a frequency for Collin County, and while I have heard DMR sound bursts on this frequency on my NON-DMR scanner, nothing voice related has ever been decoded on my BCD436HP. There has also been DMR sound burts on several other TxDot assigned 151 and 159 splinter frequencies, but I have never heard any voice activity on any of those, as well. Clearly 151.3925 is the winner for me, so far. Hope this helps.

The TxDOT crews down here in Johnson County have been very active on the Keene frequency, 156.1950 MHz CTCSS 71.9Hz.

While I was in NE Tarrant County yesterday, I did not hear any crews on any of the frequencies that I have listed for them even while scanning their frequencies as analog and digital.

These four frequencies have been very active in San Antonio this week. 151.055 is San Antonio primary operations repeater but it is also being used simplex.

It's one of the four statewide simplex channels.
151.025
151.055
151.085
156.135
In many areas there are other licensees on those. TXDOT uses PL 100.0 or NAC 293 on them.

Hearing 151.055 CTCSS 100.0 in Bedford. As stated by others, that's a state-wide talk around channel.

Hey guys, I thought that the TXDOT Weatherford site on 151.0925 PL167.9 was also being used over in Tarrant County. But the more I've listened to it through the last month, the more I realize they're really just dealing with Parker County. I've heard an occasional sanding crossing the line into Tarrant County but they turn around and head back into Parker County.

Other than the simplex 151.085 PL 100.1, I'm not hearing a Fort Worth sanding crew. I'm not sure if they might be on some other band but they don't seem to be on the FWRRS TRS either. The frequencies listed for the Fort Worth region do not seem to have any activity in Tarrant County other than the one simplex frequency I mentioned.

I haven't been searching the low-band VHF frequencies, the 47 MHz stuff, but I might try again. Does anyone have any Tarrant County / Fort Worth area frequencies they use?

One other thing that caught my attention recently was the 130 + car pile up on I-35 that was so terrible. They were talking about TeXpress, from the NTTA, that was responsible for sanding that part of the roads. I didn't think that was part of the toll roads though. I know that I have heard NTTA traffic on the NCTCOG TRS but I don't think I've ever heard any sanding ops. There may even be one other TRS that NTTA uses and that would be the Megahertz Technology DMR TRS?

I have also obeen hearing some of the contractors being mentioned too like K5GQB mentioned. Forgive me if I got the call sign wrong but I can't go back and see it right at the moment. These contractors must be using some of their own frequencies, but I'm not sure. Some traffic I heard on the Weatherford TXDOT site the other night made me think the contractors might even be using the TXDOT trucks. So if that was the case, then I'm sure they would be on the same TXDOT frequencies. But again, I'm not 100% certain this was the case in what I heard.

I've heard the city of Fort Worth doing sanding on a TGID labeled as TPW 2 and it's TGID is 5483. It is on the FWRRS. But I'm still not sure what areas they are covering and I'm sure it would be within the city of Fort Worth limits.

I'm real interested in finding the TXDOT repeater frequency, and any other frequencies besides the 151.085 simplex, that are used in Tarrant County. I haven't heard a peep on 151.0025, which looks like the Tarrant County repeater frequency on rr.com, in a very long time. I'm wondering if there's a DMR frequency I'm missing when I search or if there may just be some frequency not listed in the Fort Worth region for TXDOT on rr.com that is getting used.

Does anyone have a good Tarrant County TXDOT repeater frequency they currently use?

When I lived there That used to be the main Tarrant County channel. The other one in Euless wasn't used much. I think only the Dallas District and Galveston Ferry use DMR or at least those are the only licenses with DMR emission designators that I know of.

Also hearing 151.0175 CTCSS 136.5, sounds like simplex, and fairly weak in Bedford.
