Who does the support for UBC800XLT?

No word about this scanner on the Uniden USA page.

No word about this scanner on the Uniden New Zealand page.
No word about this scanner on the Uniden Australia page.
Uninden Japan web page redirects to USA for all scanners.

Anybody knows there to get support for this scanner? Firmware updates?

there's sadly a very poor/none support... uniden cares about U.S. scanners.. forget the support. grow up..

I think this should be the top modell for europe. Was wrong.

I have big problems with the SCAN speed/rate. I never ever can get a good scan rate. I am getting about 20-30cps only. I set the HOLD TIME to 0, DELAY to 0.

Which scanner should be better?

I have also the pro163, the uniden should be faster. It is not.

For scanning conventional channels, putting the channels in order by frequency will improve the scan rate. Trunked systems are not affected by channel ordering.

Sorted by frequency since first programming. How fast are you getting the UBC800?
