Hi all, is there any free software like uniden SS for the european version of UBCD160DN. I've try the SS software but doesn't work with UBCD

Not free, but give ProScan a try, that model's on the list. You get a 30 day trial. ProScan

It's well worth the few dollars for Bob's development, support and time put in to it.

Even if they did make software, it would not be as robust or have the capabilities of ProScan!

Just look at Sentinel for example.

Avera who distribute the scanner needs to pay Uniden to do a EU firmware for it but it seems they didn't want to pay for a CPS to program it and on their website they say to pay for and use the ARC260 software from Butel.
