Scared ? spare a thought for me, I had to test, and put the stuff up there. As I've said in another post, scanned with AVG7, and adw6. The Uniden stuffs from Uniden, the others from another couple of site's I'll try to dig up.

One thing I should put up there is, that the Key is for the Uniden Software. All works fine here. If you have any info regarding the 396T, 996, etc, which others may be interested in, post a link here.

PS: Seeing as I'm getting the cops, for whatever reason here in Melbourne, wonder if I should put up a live 'Media Stream' on the page. Sounds good to me, but how do I do that. I'll have to read a bit I guess.

Your inverter and descrambler files show they are infected with the Win32/Expiro.D virus.

What software gave you that information ? - Was it Nortons ?

AVG reports it for both files. It throws up a big warning box and asks if it should be quarantined.


Other than that, neat site. I like all the cable diagram information.

I'm using AVG7, and no warnings here, or complaints from the 162 downloads so far.
Those using Nortons, by the way, should be shot.
Click on the banner bellow the site [RealStats], [Green Logo], and you'll see the hits.
Funny, most are from the US. 1 hit from this site, from Britain, and he complains. Another claims that the links don't work. Oh well. There you have it.

As mentioned in the above posts, be very careful in downloading these files....my virus detection program (McAfee) alerted on and removed the following virus from one of the files: W32/Expiro.

GULP! Here's the score.
My OLD AVG-7's not been updating definitions. [surprise]. Installed AVG-7.5. Found all files infected. [2x120gig,1x160gig,2x40gig], and 3 files via the Web Page Links.

This amounted to a huge Format and re-install Job. Everything New. [and clean]!
The Site :

REMOVED - [ BctoolReset.exe, Descrambler.exe, Speechinverter.exe ]!

Those links in the menu will return a 404 error due to the missing files. The rest works.
I'll try to find the [ Non Infected ] Versions if I can.

An Apology and THANKS to all who pointed the problem out, and anyone who may have downloaded any of the [3] infected files.
All I can say is, IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN. [I Hope]. Thanks to All.

I booted up my old crasppy laptop and downloaded and installed your files.
Once i restarted the comp when i go to log in it kicks me rite back out before anythign loads up. Same as in safe mode.
So i think your files sure are infected with crap to crew with the comps

And now the site is hosting totally different content. Non scanner related content. Content that triggered firewall alerts on my end.

IMO, a moderator should remove all of the links to his page from this thread. From what I can see, this guy is an a$$.
