Ubcd396xt. Woint stop hissing it inclose call mode

Hi my scanner I had in close call , now I turn close call off , but it is stil in that mode mines the close cal icon. But it not scanning now just a hissing sound , how do I get back to normal working thanks conann9

Sounds like you stored the close call hit and also have squelch turned down too low. First, turn up squelch to at least 3.

I highly recommend using some of the software available (free or purchased) to once in a while rad and save your last known good settings. this way if you try something new you can always go back to what the canner was before you did something.
