Currently hearing very very weak ARTCC controller on 254.375. Sounds like he is saying Jacksonville center. If this is so I must be hearing 254.375 Jacksonville center at Lake City Florida which is 320 miles from my location in north Georgia. This is a new UHF record for me.

Very cool! I'll verify that one for you on my next road trip to northern Florida. All the databases say it should be 254.325 there.

Currently hearing Peachtree Dekalb airport tower on 281.5 MHz at a distance of 55.4 miles. Just popped up out of thin air at S-4 levels. Nice strong signal. odd...

This morning around 7:30 I went in to check the radios before work and I noticed I was picking up the Homestead AFB ATIS off the back of the SDL antenna with a S-4 signal. I'm 50 miles away, wish I could have stayed and played
