UHP data merged

The UHP information that was located both within county listings and in the UHP statewide section has been merged together by county - in the UHP statewide database. It can be found here:

I found that there was some information listed in the orginal county that was not in the state database and vice versa. If needed, both were combined into one.

GPS/Geolocation data has been entered for each county for those that use location based scanning.

Counties that had no listing for UHP in either listing are shown, but empty. If information exists, please post to this thread. If they only use the USRS in that county, please post in here and I will make a notation in that counties field.

What I would also like to add to the subcatagory desciption field is the "Section Office" responsble for that county/location.

I would like to take out back the person who designed the location/nomencature who works for the state and beat him for awhile! Not sure why they chose to label their sites/channels the way they do...but thats how it is.

When the dust settles here, I'll do the same for DOT and USRS in their respective locations.

This info is for Carbon, Emery UHP ... our area is Section 9.. also our area while slow is in the begining stages of being migrated to the UCAN system.. not all UHP officers radios have been programmed yet but the dispatch has been using UCAN... For now lets put UHP Price North as TG 49760 which is Linked with Ford Ridge UHP (155.655)and covers Carbon County Utah, and UHP Price South as TG 49728 which is linked with Cedar Mountain UHP (154.920) and covers Emery County, Utah areas... this is new information as far as the TG's are concerned for these areas.... Price Dispatch covers at least 4 counties and probably will add Grand and San Juan Counties to the Ucan soon... i Believe also that Grand and San Juan counties are also in the Section 9 region.......

Someone asked me about Davis County UHP dispatch. I was not able to find a talkgroup in the database, only the car-to-car TG.

In Davis County UHP is dispatched by the County dispatchers on Davis Law 1/2.

theaton and I kicked around some ideas. To make life a little simplier we are going to combine UHP and the SRS in one listing - and organize it by UHP "sections". This will create a one stop shopping and allowed a more intergrated geolocation data source and reference database. I believe theton is also goint to be working on intergrating the BLM districts and lands to a better listing as well.

So, Utah will become much more organized over the next 30 days (give or take).

Next stop will be the UCAN database...but I think I've worn out two laser mouses so far!
