Due to work I haven't been monitoring lately, that is a good question. Do ambulances take patients there?

I'll listen to wildcards over the next few days and see if I hear/log anything.

Sounds like Rex Holly Springs is using 52392; I just heard an ambulance enroute there.

Interesting, typically they do not double up on talkgroups and that one is in the database as

52392cca8DAhoskie MedAhoskie Family Physicians VMH5

That is interesting. I wonder if Ahoskie still uses that one, or if they have doubled up after all. I double-checked the discovery log and the TGID, but I would welcome outside confirmation.

EDIT: Ahoskie Family Physicians may not exist any longer; yp.com reports them as having closed, and there’s no website for them.

Thanks!

As a side note, monitoring the three Raleigh towers tonight and have not seen that TG. That said, the EMS units may have only been affiliated on the Holly Springs tower, which I don't usually pickup. I am monitoring and logging for the next few days to see what happens.

Also, Google maps returns two locations for Ahoskie Family Physicans.

I'm only monitoring the Holly Springs tower, so that may indeed be the case.

Just heard two calls to them within a few minutes of each other with units inbound to the facility; same TGID (52392). It doesn't sound like they get a lot of calls though; I only had a few hits on my discovery run overnight. Looking forward to seeing if you're able to pick up anything off of the Raleigh towers!

Nothing new for doubling up on talkgroups.

Caromont (Gastonia) and Caromont (Mt Holly) Hospitals share the same talkgroup on Viper.

Still haven't found if they have one on the UASI system or not. I know Mecklenburg Ems transports to Mt Holly frequently.

I know all three Hospitals in both Cabarrus and Union Counties have separate talkgroups on the UASI System.

Hope this is informational

They’re both Caromont facilities in close proximity though so that kind of makes sense.

According to Google Ahoskie Family Physicians is a part of RCCHC and I’m not exactly sure why they have a TG. The actual hospital in Ahoskie is a ECU/Vidant facility.

Look at the Viper Medical talkgroups there are several that have been assigned to health centers and clinics across the state.

There was at one time till they were moved was a Viper hospital talkgroup for the following.

Pungo District Hospital (Beaufort Co)
Blowing Rock Hospital (Watauga Co)
Our Community Hospital (Halifax Co)
Sandhills Medical Center (Richmond Co)
Hoots Memorial Hospital (Yadkin Co)

These were finally deleted I haven't had time to check if they have been reassigned or not.

Hoots Hospital closed several years ago location is now County EMS base along with some other offices. Some clinics still have VIPER radio ids
