You might delete the current BC_VUP and download it again.

Version 1.04.02, I removed and reinstalled many times.

What software are you using? What operating system are you running on the computer? Are you doing this to program the radio?

Windows 11, just trying to update firmware

Why have you removed and reinstalled it? Most manufacturers suggest avoiding an install unless it is to fix a known problem or add features to the radio. This is an older scanner and USB drivers from before Windows 11 do not often work with Win 11.

tried on windows 11, no problem. check if you have any windows firewall rules blocking you.

Also I hope the BC_VUP does not suffer from using ftp over tmobile ISP issue (as Sentinel DB update does).
