Uniden BCD325P2 programming Question

The Data base only shows 7 frequencies for the police in my area, no trunked systems. I hear some chatter on the conventional channels (usually on 2 of them), but I know there is more, as some of the other frequencies cut in with noise (sometimes motorboat sound, squelling, etc..) quite often.

I have tried to program the bcd325p2 on p2, MOT both through freescan and manually with no luck, as all I have to go on are the frequencies given.

Any hints on what I should do next?

look up the word encryption.
also it could be a digital signal that the radio can not decode.
even if you put in a P-25 trunked voice frequency you will hear it.
unless you are too far away and it can't get enough signal.

Be good if you could say what system this is too. That way we can look it up and see what's what.

Yes, as ofd8001 said, please post a link to the system you are trying to monitor.


There's a chance you programmed the wrong system type.
