Provided you have updated the scanner's database through Sentinel, you should have all currently available frequencies, agencies, and systems. I'm not sure what type of "file" you'd be referring to aside from what's already available to you. You can always augment the scanner's built-in database with a RadioReference subscription, but it's not really necessary for the 436.
I'd go over to YouTube and search for Creating a Favorites List. Very good "how to" video.
