I'm a new user to scanners. I have preloaded frequencies, but I don't know how to use them or even put in new frequencies, so I can listen to my new radio, or even hoe to program it. I'm totally in the dark. Please help me and I don't know anything about this. Thanks!

Hi Saddletramp55 welcome to RadioReference :)

It would probably be worth your while to get a premium subscription here at RadioReference and then download FreeScan software.
You can then E-Z grab freq. from the database into your radio.

Thanks, where do I go to download FreeScan software? I can't find.

and with a premium subscription, you wouldn't need to use the E-Z Grab function - just use the web import. It's fully defined in the FreeScan user manual - which is here

E-Z Grab is nice, and it doesn't require a subscription - but having one helps pay for the various functions and features of this site. (end of plug, hi) 73 Mike
