Hi, I just bought a Uniden home patrol 2 scanner and I was wondering if anyone knew where I can get a vehicle mount for it.

Did you end up finding a suitable vehicle mount? If so, could you give us an update.

I’m having trouble finding anything apart from some printed ones on eBay USA, and they end up being expensive when shipped internationally.

Hoping there may be a ‘universal’ type clamp or similar that others have used that can be purchased easier.

No I didn’t I’ve look on eBay and other websites and couldn’t find anything

There was a bracket that mated up to a Ram mount arm with a large suction cup that i used on the windshield. Not sure if that bracket is still made.

Thanks, however as posted above, the international shipping from the US on those printed ones on eBay makes them too expensive for what they are.

Was hoping there may have been a more universal bracket (for a phone/tablet/etc) that may have been tested or used and that was available more widely.

The OP may have use for what I posted in message #7, if they are in the US.

You might want to check Thingiverse, etc. to see if you can find a STL and have someone print it locally for you. Some of our public libraries have that service.

I'm not familiar with the button layout on the Homepatrol, but you might be able to use a clamp-type GPS holder that has similar dimensions.

No worries. But could you advise where Uniden still have the OEM bracket for sale? Everywhere I look it shows them as ‘sold out’, and it’s been that way for ~18-24months, so at a guess they are discontinued.

Thanks, but unfortunately the HP/HP2 aren’t sold in Australia, I imported one from the US several years back.
