What does the +POL and -POL DO?

Get/Set Backlight
Controller &#8594; Radio
BKL[\r]
BKL, [DIMMER], [COLOR][\r]
Radio &#8594; Controller
1 BKL, [DIMMER], [COLOR][\r]
2 BKL,OK[\r]
[DIMMER] : Backlight Dimmer (OFF / LOW / MIDL / HIGH / +POL / -POL )
[COLOR] : (BLUE,RED,MAGENTA,GREEN,CYAN,YELLOW,WHITE)
Get/Set Backlight Setting.
This command is only acceptable in Programming Mode.

Its for the automatic dimming feature.

+POL' - if the orange wire gets 12V when you turn on the headlights.
-POL' - if the orange wire is switched to chassis ground when you turn on the headlights.
