Updated ( both the 1.24.00 and the new Sentinel) my SDS200 with no issues observed. My G5 is still few seconds ahead .
Thanks for the update Uniden.

In my County system there are few talk groups which SDS 200 flashes Data /Link between slot1 and slot 2 with occasional garbled audio . Thus far and under the current update the audio on those specific talk groups seems more clear. Is this an example of the inbound voice/data issue which 1.24.00 has addressed?

Can you link the county system? I'm getting the following when I tried to look at your profile:

Oops! We ran into some problems.

Thanks Jason , as comparison only ,monitoring the same talk groups my G5 does not replicate the same issues and passes clear audio.

It was a spellcheck correction issue and should have read integrated and not inbound. It is when a data channel, not a control channel, are monitored on a voice channel and it locks to it thinking it is a control channel.

It seems my signal strength is lil lower than before. I was for sure pegged out on one system and it isn't now, almost is but not. Seems some VCs on other systems not as strong either.

I know with the previous update my signals went up a lil, so it seems it went back to about signal strength from firmware version before the previous.

Edit: think this is right now.

1.24.00- seems lower signal strength then 1.23.20

1.23.20 main- signal strength went up lil from 1.23.15

1.23.15 -signal was lower then 1.23.20

Sorry I don't know the firmware numbers. But I'll try explain.

New version- seems lower signal strength

Previous version - signal strength went up lil

Previous version before the above previous -signal was lower then the one above

So from the 3rd version to the previous version it went up in signal a lil, now with the new latest version seemed go back to around what the 3rd one had.
I keep FW download for that reason case if something happens I can go back.

Wish I would have I'm not to great at this kinda thing, tbh I wouldn't know how to go back to the previous if I wanted to.
When you plug the radio to computer should pop up and click the first folder and some other folder / files show up. Click the Firmware folder.
And you can drop the .bin file there and restart scanner

Here is the link for 1.23.20 FW its at the bottom of the page

Pro Voice is working well now.

Haven't noticed any changes to the reception of the nearby statewide system, the one site that is always on the edge for me is still the same, RSSI -110ish.

Ok I switched back to previous firmware, recorded each system for couple minutes each to see the RSSI etc then switched back to the new one again, and comparing the new one, with the older version.

on one system is a very minimal lower, not enough to warrant to again revert back and not have the latest firmware and updates. So I did learn how to revert back if needed in the future. @Bravo14 thanks for the info and help, I appreciate it!

Your welcome. I learned back when the 436/536 first came out and Firmware was coming out soon as you update you wasn't able to go back. I thought at the time copy and paste. One time there was a google drive that had firmware updates not sure if that still around or even they added new ones?
