I have both running with rtl-2832. What I want to know if anyone has done a compare with using the rtl-2832, virtual cable output verses using a radio with disc.tap output. Just wondering if you get better decodes with disc. tap verses virtual cable setup. Thanks for the time. If I get time I'll try it myself but thought I'd ask first.

Did a quick compare with SDR running pdw 3.1/ virtual cable, and Pro2006/disc tap to 4-level decoder to serial port side by side. And the winner is....disc tap to 4-level/serial port. With virtual cable it droppped pages while the serial kept on playing. Next I want to try fleetnet, but I think direct disc. tap will win again. Oh...virtual cable does work but when pushed...looses some decodes.
