Ok, so I have a BC350C. I can use it with Trunk88 just fine.

However, I want to try and use it with unitrunker.

But it doesnt seem to be working.

Any ideas?

I have setup the system and sites with the control channel.

Do I have to set up each channel or can I just do the control channel?

Are you doing a direct from headphone jack to mic jack, or have you discriminator tapped the BC350C?

From what the documentation says most scanners require discriminator audio.... To decode say an Motorola Type II 3600 kbps system, youd have to have a very strong signal at a constant rate to even try it vias speaker audio. And to answer the original query.. You need the CC to even begin decode, then you can add chans all day as long as you know the Motorola LCN's... What I find interesting is with my tapped PRO-92 B, if the signal isn't real good, UT does a better decode than T88.

I have it on the speaker output and it works great with trunk 88.

And I listen to 6 different Type 2 systems.

I would like to try it on a 9600 system, but I guess we will see.

What about a motorola radio?

I tried trunk88 on the discriminator audio from an MCS2000 and it wouldnt work at all, so i am not sure.

I guess I will try, but it seems kinda backwards.

You may be right, but I'm curious exactly how you came to that conclusion.

That's very odd. I'd love to see a short audio recording (in TRUNK88, just press Ctrl-W, wait a second, and press Ctrl-W again)

I guess you messed up somewhere. Do the same recording deal and post or email it.

From side by side comparison... while t88 will be still trying to frame data, ut will be popping... Wierd but true. Though I have noted on another system that T88 will do a better job... Thats why I use both.... And run Pro96Com for P-25
