When editing a site label, it doesnt seem to stick after using Apply or Save. I've even edited the .SIT file and it always labels the first site instead of the one i've chosen. Any tips? And BTW, thanks to the previous poster for the help with the GM300. Works like a champ on a P25 UHF Smartzone System.

Would probably help if you stated if the problem is applicable to a specific protocol (Moto, EDACS, MPT1327, or P25), or to more than one.

From the main menu ...

[F]ind ... Ste ... fill in the site # and press return.

If the site # exists, the site edit panel appears. Make sure the site # in the edit panel matches the site you wish to edit. Tab over to the Label field and fill in your label. Alt-S will save. Alt-A will apply. Pressing Return will have the same effect as ave menu.

I do that but it keeps defaulting the label to site 000-000 regardless of what I put in. Also, it only appears to accept 5 digits in the site find area as shown in the picture.
And to the previous poster, its a P25 system as noted.

You can omit the leading zeroes. Example "1-5" instead of "001-005". I'll make a note of it not accepting the longer forn.

I appreciate the help. I've tried every tip listed to no avail. I give up :)
