Using the HP-1's Trunked System Analyzer and the Current Activity tool, I see some activity with a green font which the help menu describes as Unknown TGID. How can I use this info to help to update the RR DB?

I'm located in Boise and so far I have seen these unknown TGID's on Gem State Communications, ICAWIN, and Micron.

Do some homework and identify the users of these talkgroups. Validate it with others. Then, for each of these systems...

Gem State Communications Trunking System, Boise, Idaho - Scanner Frequencies

Idaho Cooperative Agencies Wireless Interoperable Network (ICAWIN) Trunking System, Statewide, Idaho - Scanner Frequencies

Micron Technology, Inc. Trunking System, Boise, Idaho - Scanner Frequencies

Look for a grey 'SUBMIT' tab near the top center of each page. That's how you submit data to the team

If you wish to catalog what you've found so far, you can use the wiki to capture this data. The wiki is a member-edited database, so it's useful as a 'scratchpad' of sorts to capture data like this

I've seen those system pages already and have previously submitted conventional radio system updates to RR; the homework I need to do is figure out how to listen to or identify the unknown talkgroups on the HP-1.

If you post the unknown TGs in this forum, I may be able to help in identifying the agency and/or use (particularly ICAWIN). Additionally, others from the Boise area may be able to provide help. If you can get Unit IDs (UID) to go with the TGs, this can help in identification of the agency.

Why not just record the system on the HP1? Then you can come back and playback all of the recordings to deduce what the TGIDs are...
