LCD did it to save air time and so they can concentrate on answering everyone on the response channel. Due to the firefighters having pagers that playback the call and having the calls sent to their cell phones via the dispatch CAD. Within a few months to a year possibly, they are going to switch over to the computer generated dispatch voice system so dispatch doesn’t have to say it themselves.
Sounds like the we're back to twice again, I guess not everyone is listening with pagers!!!

The Response channel is also not at all the same sites where Dispatch is located. Not sure where I am hearing from, Colebrook or New Hartford FD Response transmitter locations. Dispatch is on Talcott Mtn so it is L/C.

I've noticed I've been hearing the Response repeated non-stop recently, ands since I'm always monitoring the "L" simulcast site, I'm assuming it's my luck someone happens to be affiliated when I'm monitoring.

New Hartford doesn't have response transmit, you're probably getting colebrook, that's currently the most northeasterly one. Hoping to get response TX up on west hill sooner rather than later, route 44 is pretty spotty.

Watch out for the bears. Used to see them all the time up there.

I was hoping to see a full LCD site on the new East Hartland tower w/Troop B Simulcast but I would imagine it is difficult to coordinate channels a 1200' high location with not much to block it East and North up to Eastern MA, VT, NH, and even ME.

If you see a bear carrying a white trash bag with corn shucks and cobs, it's mine. The local bear removed it from my trash Friday and disappeared. Big fluffy garbage disposals.
