Keep in mind that it's the lawyers who usually get the bulk of the money in class action law suits. The actual plaintiffs usually get a pittance. Don't expect to get a refund of any kind if you win. Maybe a certificate for some amount to be used for a future purchase.

Also keep in mind that a class action law suit can take five or more years to settle. In the federal court system, civil cases take a back seat to criminal cases.

The Class Action Lawsuit Idea is the best idea at this point. We all need to team up and attack them like a pitbull does. Hit them in the pocket book, this is the only way at this point.

Screw them. Lets get some money out of this whole mess. We deserve it at this point.

I agree. People keeping submitting input for Uniden and RR to make money on us and we get spit in the face.

Shame on us. At the end of the day we get a BS scanner and pay for premium service on this site and submit info for free.

At this point, what else can we do? Uniden's complete silence on this issue can only mean one thing; they can't and won't fix the x36HP's.

Don't assume. You know what that word means when you break it down.

Their silence only means they don't have a workable solution yet that is customer-ready. What can you do? Trust that Uniden will make things right. I know that's not easy, but Uniden has a history of customer support that includes supporting models several generations old for newer rebanded systems. That's why it's ridiculous to read that people think release of a new entry level digital product means the end of support for current high tier models. Uniden's history does not support that claim.

It's not the end of the x36 line. It's the perception that Uniden was working another model while the current one is incomplete. You can't fault people from being upset. Is it good news that Uniden is still expanding their scanner market, sure. But it also looks bad when a year has gone by and people feel like they were forgotten because they put their faith in what was advertised almost a year ago.

Not much was wrong with the 3000.The 2500 and the 8500 were full of faults.
