Upper Sandusky Police change?

Anyone know what the USPD changed to? Been running wildcards all week with no luck. The 155.190 is silent and talkgroup 51005 listed is silent also, ws1065 scanner. Thanks in advance.

I called the USPD, they put me in touch with the radio guy. He was not very helpfull in specifics other than telling me they went digital, but wouldnt tell me anything else. Would this be something I can still monitor with a scanner upgrade? or is this going to be a total loss?

USPD is on the statewide system "MARCS-IP"... It's a P25 Phase 1 trunked system...

Looks like from what I can see the WS 1065 should work on the Marcs-IP system if setup correctly... It's not a Simulcast system in your area...
Cant help you with the setup... Not at all familiar with your scanner...

Somebody will probably chime in with info on this...

The USPD did change freqs to 155.8875b, 153.9425m, and I have confirmed this with fcc list, my hit counter, and listening to the garballed transmission lenghts they seem consistent to police conversations. However my ws1065 can not decode the digital garbal. My question is to all readers if someone has a scanner/radio that can decode see if it is something that can be listened to? I want to try this before going out and getting a different scanner. Thanks in advance.

Emission types on USPD's license are DMR and analog NFM. I don't have any DMR radios to try to decode it. Maybe a patch so Crawford county Sheriff can hear Upper? Marion county doesn't use DMR for LEOs. Patch is the only thing I can think of. Someone with a DMR receiver in the area will have to confirm what it is.

If it turns out to be DMR, NDXN, P25 I would suggest maybe a 996p2 with the upgrades

Can you provide the full details / submit it to the database so that others can benefit? Freq, Color Code, Talkgroup for each freq?

The submission included a slot. I'll add the slot --added. Kind of silly to limit slot though. There was no TG submitted. Now, if there is traffic on slot 2, how are you or anyone else going to know if you specifically program in Slot 1? Food for thought.

Database shows it as USPD.

I have a trx-2 so I cant help you with the programming, however I have UPSD programmed conventional and as a talkgroup.
My settings: dgmode=dig, rx mode auto, sq mode srch, sqcode na, dmr, color=any, slot=any, att on, agc on, ab on
These are the frequencies, mode, color and slot that is displayed:
153.9425 dmr, color 3, slot 1
155.8875 dmr, color 3, slot 1
They use both freqs
I will tell ya, some days there is very little traffic as they use their phones and intercomputer chat a lot.
