That Wiki is not very good. Old and out of date.
Here in FL they are still using the old known freqs of:
162.7125
162.7875
163.2000
170.7500
Also check 170.8000.
I have heard that they joined the DOJ system (FBI) and one freq that has been suspect in that system is 167.6125 here in S. FL. This is yet to be confirmed. USM also uses Prison Bureau freqs up around 170 MHz. P25 transmissions here in FL use NAC 293.

NEWS FLASH: USMS 167.6125 R NAC293 confirmed early this morning out of SE Florida. "Radio Check" in the clear. YES!!! I got it!![]()
Hmm.... NAC293, I'd sit on 167.6125. to see if other NACs show up.

Nice. I'm wondering if the USM have an agreement with the FBI for Dispatch. Some of our [New England] former 167.9 Hz Repeaters are now $293 or might these be a shared/interop?
Good find Phil. I've never heard USM come up on an FBI channel here in Chicago.
166.4625 and 167.5625 w/ NAC293 enc. were in use during a FBI, local PD, and Crook County Sheriff joint training exercise last year in a Chicago suburb mall. 167.5375 (D5) and 163.1000 (D7) w/ 167NAC enc. were also in use. Assumed they were handout interop. radios. 25 Cities Project freqs. were in heavy use w/ NAC653 enc.
USM is digital and FBI is mostly analog in Chicago, it will be interesting when the feebs replace their analog with digital.

This freq was known as USM/FBI in SE FL with PL 136.5 in the past. I heard it myself with USM guys talking to "300". The question was if it went P25 or was discontinued. Yesterday I got my answer. Both PL 136.5 and NAC293 are known USM codes. I have some other credible sources that told me how it works, but not where it was freq wise as they did not know or care. They just use it! That is enough for me. Done deal!

I've read that the Miami FBI District radio callsign is KEV300. Maybe that's what the "300" refers to???
Please post if you see other NACs in addition to 293.
Do you know if 167.9 CTCSS was every used on 167.6125?
