Does anyone have a up to date source(2009) for the frequencies the usaf thunderbirds team uses?
So far all I've found are outdated lists.

While in Colorado Springs I heard the Thunderbirds practice this week on Tuesday, and was at the Air Force Academy watching them on Wednesday, 26May2010. The best frq I heard them talking on during the airshow was 235.25 MHz AM. They sounded like they were fully enjoying themselves! I heard ground crews on 413.275 and 413.325, both FM.

The Thunderbirds are here in Houston for the airshow this weekend. The Friday before the full show, they do a show for the special needs folks. I usually take off this day to get a jump on freqs and take a few pics. Today's catches:
141.075 (AM)
216.725 (FM) pre-recorded music
216.975 (FM) repeat of 141.075
413.275 (FM) DPL 431 Maintenance crews
Didn't catch any UHF air today

Yeah, I found out why I didn't hear them on UHF. I had it programmed as 253.25. Silly details.
At least I caught it Friday night before heading out there again on Saturday.

Thunderbirds at Dayton Ohio - July 2011

At Dayton Ohio on July 23, 2011...

I researched and loaded the frequencies below. The resulting hit counts are shown also. The diamond leader was on 141.075. The solo leader was on 235.250. The ground crew was on 413.275.

I named the channels as best I could but can't say how accurate they are. It led to some very interesting listening while watching the show. You should take headphones though. During the show we sometimes could not hear the radio. Have fun!
