Hello. The other night I tried to connect Sentinel software to my SDS200 via the USB-A connector on the front panel. Normally, I connect to my computer by the MicroUSB connector, but the MicroUSB connector on the SDS200 seemed flimsy so I thought the USB-A connector would be a more stable connector.

My computer did not connect or respond to the USB-A connector. Is the USB-A connector meant for programming?

Thanks

If you are concerned about the Micro USB being flimsy, you can always remove the SD card and program it with a card reader on your computer. That method is significantly quicker too.
