I use this radio daily as my 2m handie.
I have two of them.

Standard-Horizon
HX370
Marine Handheld with
40 Software Programmable Land Mobile Channels (137-174MHz)
The radio is also narrowband capable on LMR freqs.

StandardHorizon HX370

This blows most people's minds, but I spotted them
in the glass showcase in a Goodwill store scotch taped
together with a price of $24.95 for both. I paid around $12.50
since it was 1/2 price on that color price tag that day.
They are in fantastic shape and included good batteries.
I charge them with my universal charger.

Keep your eyes open at thrift stores and flea markets.
I recently found a fully working RS Pro-96 P25 Scanner
at a Goodwill for $7.99 ---
this is no BS.

Good luck!
