Using GPS for 2 programs

Hey all-

I have been using RadarLab HD with GPS tracking off of my USB Com 4 port. I just got Microsoft Streets and Trips 2008 and I know there is a way to configure your system with software to allow one GPS to feed 2 programs. Better said, I want to use my one GPS receiver with RadarLab and Microsoft at the same time. I know it can be done, but I google searched myself into a tizzy and was not able to find a program that could do it. Some fellow chasers were talking about doing this and say they have done it with success. Anyone have any ideas how it's done???
